Preserve Your Story: Help Us Record Mercer County’s History

The Mercer County Historical Society is excited to launch a new initiative to preserve the personal histories of Mercer County, Ohio! We invite community members to share their stories—whether it's about the old boat races, the lost villages, past sporting events, or other historical moments that have shaped our county.

Your memories are a vital part of our local history, and we want to ensure they are preserved for generations to come. These interviews will be recorded and archived in Past Perfect, our digital record-keeping software, allowing future historians, researchers, and your fellow community members to access these valuable firsthand accounts.

How You Can Participate

We are looking for individuals who are willing to sit down for an interview and share their personal experiences. No story is too big or too small—every piece of history matters!

If you or someone you know has a story to tell, please enter your contact information and a little bit about the story you have to tell.

Join us in preserving the voices of Mercer County’s past so they can be heard in the future!
